Our Wind & Watertight (WWT) Shipping Containers provide a secure, budget friendly storage solution. They are the perfect solution for keeping your valuables dry, secure, and protected from the elements, at a fraction of the cost of new containers. These are retired shipping containers that may show signs of age, but still have plenty of life left for land-based living.
A WWT is not new, but still tough, sealed, and reliable. While it's fully functional and structurally sound, its exterior shows clear signs of wear from years of service.
Container Conditions
Expect visible dents, dings, and scuffs from previous handling and transportation. These are cosmetic and do not affect the container's performance. You'll likely see surface rust or faded paint, especially around corners, seams, or along the roof and doors. This is typical for older, retired containers.
Some units may have minor welded patches, typically on the roof or side panels, where past repairs have been made. These are sealed and professionally done to maintain watertight integrity.
The double cargo doors are fully functional but may show signs of rust, worn paint, or scuffed locking hardware. They still close tightly and seal properly.
Inside, the container is clean but may have scratches, surface rust, or marks on the walls and floors. The wooden flooring is solid, though it may show signs of age or staining from previous use.
